I took a job with an Adult day care center, 2 actually, and they needed an art teacher. I wanted something a couple of times a week so I agreed, they meet on Mondays. I am now finding out that these adults are not as with it, or doing as well as I hoped. I feel that after teaching High School for so long that I don't have as much for a lower level student. I have a curriculum that I made but it may be too much for them.

I was hoping that some of you that teach elementary or middle school that have good things to do with some one who is mentally challenged like this could give me a few ideas that I can adept to their level.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I have paint, pastels (dry and oil), and pencils and drawing paper, scissors, paste etc.
