You could do leaf prints or crayon rubbings of leaves and identify them.
Fish prints with real or fake rubber fish. Draw insect body parts identify
FLower parts identify. I had 6th graders color a cone shape paper I made up
that when cut , folded and glued made a 3D cut away of the inside and
outside of a volcano, and label the parts. Science teacher liked it.
Draw fish and color with oil or regular pastels but include all th ebody
parts gills , eyes dorsal fin tail Line down the side that is actually how a
fish hears it is a sensory device, fish are dark from above and light
underneath as a camoflage tool . from below a preditor looking up would not
see them as well because they blend in with the light of the sky , from
above they blend in with the substrate below.
