Hi Marsh,

I know Ken will see your post and will respond.

I am posting this to the list in case others are in your same
situation. It is very common now for AP Studio art classes to be
taught the same time as another class.

I suggest you join the AP Studio Discussion Group:
http://apcentral.collegeboard.com/apc/public/homepage/4339.html

Also enter - AP studio art syllabus - in Google. Lots and lots of help
online for you.

Check out AP Central to see what all is required. You can't just all
the sudden to decide you are going to teach AP Studio. A course
syllabus must be presented and approved.

I am assuming your admin wants an AP 2D class? Drawing?

It is a lot of work for you - and not much benefit to the students.
Rarely do students get college credit. They still have to take all of
the introductory drawing classes. I believe they do get elective
credit. AP Studio isn't like other AP classes. My son got a passes on
many classes at Ohio University with all of his AP credits.

Regards,

Judy Decker
