[teacherartexchange] 8th grade project issues.

Hey All, some questions....
Upon returning back to school, my 8th Graders will unfortunately be
continuing their perspective room projects with big ideas. I say unfortunately,
because I only see them twice a week, and I feel like I havent seen them in so
long, that we are STILL working on this project! Does anyone think it might be a
good idea, to re-show them some images of the artist we studied, Sandy
Skoglund to get them going again? and Inspired?

My next question is, I am sort of stuck on what to do after this long term
project perspective project. I want to do something semi short, to keep up
with the momentum....yet I don't want it to be too easy. I teach 32 of them in
one section, which makes certain projects difficult to conduct in a 45 min.
period!
Should I jump right into painting? or maybe do a short term collage project?
