I have worked in a system with early releases. Our school had an
abbreviated schedule, paring down classes to 25 - 30 minutes. Some art
teachers used this short time for "critique" day, or a quickie lesson.
It has certainly been done. And Friday and Monday classes always get
cut short, unfortunately. Good luck.
