Youth Art Month is a National Art Education Association advocacy program founded with and administered by the Council of Art Education. For the past two years we have been able to have a PowerPoint of images shown at the convention. This is a chance for you to advocate on behalf of students.
I found out today that we will again be able to showcase student art and students working during the convention in New Orleans. It will be tied to the convention theme "A Feast for the Eyes!".
Now I need your help as the deadline is unbelievably close. Many of you have responded in previous years and I am hoping you will do so this year. I need images from every state (and even beyond). This year I will send a CD copy of the program -after the convention- to every participant for their use.
Educators are responsible for any release mandated by their district for images of work and/or students.
Student names are not needed and will not be used.
The information needed below will be on the comments section of the ppt and not in the actual program. Information may be used in printed information or on the web. The only information on the slide will be the state name.
Please send 1-4 jpeg images of student work and/or students working (with or without instructor) to me with the following information actually needed sooner than as soon as possible :-) --reply through the list or to me directly
