I teach 6th through 8th grade and the student enjoy the "Getting to Know..." series the best. I like them because they are short so you have time to discuss what they have seen. I was worried that it would be too low level for my students but these are the ones they get the most out of. The website is www.gettingtoknow.com, the series is by Mike Venezia. I also like "Flickering Lights: Days of the Dead".
