I'm excited to hear where you end up in your overseas pursuits! I would
love to do that and probably would except for 1 hubbie and 2 kiddoes at
home.
If anyone out there is interested in short term opportunities to teach, my
former principal now runs a mission organization that helps small struggling
Christian schools mostly in Latin America. Teachers go down for one or two
weeks to run teacher training sessions and do one-on-one coaching with
teachers who are working in very primitive conditions often with little or
no pay and little or no supplies. It is a humbling and rewarding
experience to pass on what we learn here in a country of incredible
resources and lots of opportunities for professional growth that others
don't have.
