Michal,

You could try going to the Applications folder where you will find a
folder called Utilities. In the folder you will find an App called
Disk Utility. Launch that, select your disk and click on Verify Disk
Permissions and then Repair Disk Permissions.

Sometimes new upgrades do things to the "permissions."
