[teacherartexchange] Mac Question

I have an eMac that I use for some graphic editing and for my Final Cut Pro
HD video editing. Since that's all I use it for I sometimes go a
couple/three weeks without even turning it on. Today I turned it on and it
wanted to do a security upgrade. I allowed it to, and now some of my
programs won't open. FCP won't open, but LiveType and Garage Band will, for
instance. I tried reinstalling, but that didn't fix it. Since I'm mostly a
PC user I'm not even sure what I'm looking for - can someone help OR suggest
a site to go to where I can ask? Thanks!
