Dear Art Educators,

Those of you who do Leonardo - might have some fun trying this game
with your students.

This was featured in Riverdeep Classroom Flyer today. Students could
them design a machine to do some special task for them. Says it is
for grades 4 to 6..... but I missed one. I think middle school kids
would enjoy it too. If they go to Inventor's Workshop first, the
machines might be explained (I didn't check that link thorouoghly).

LEONARDO'S MYSTERY MACHINES:

Students will explore the wonderful world of machines
with this interactive exhibit of Leonardo da Vinci's
inventions. They will need to identify just which machine they think
Leonardo was trying to invent. Use the 2nd link above for full access
to The Inventor's
Workshop, with simple machines lessons and student ac-
tivities included. (4-6)
