Dear Art Educators,

Is this the future of schools? Scissors in a locked cupboard at all times?
This is the mandate in one TAB Choice list member's school.

Check out the responses at:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TAB-ChoiceArtEd/

The original post is subject line "AAARRRRGGGG!" (something like that -- smile).

There is also good advice on behavior issues.

TAB Choice archives are open to all - to post, you must join the group.

In studying the Ohio Standards this past week, I have determined that
the only way to meet them is to offer CHOICE - but include some whole
group presentations. I know that students will not make the
connections unless you guide them (Ohio history connections - etc).

TAB Choice is growing (Teaching for Artistic Behavior)..... Once
teachers try it - they get "hooked". Find out more about TAB Choice:

For those already offering Choice (total choice or modified choice)
let us know from time to time how things are working out for you.

Regards,

Judy Decker
