Dear Art Educators,

No need to re-invent the wheel.... When teaching PowerPoint, check out
this link to see if it has what you need:
http://www.internet4classrooms.com/on-line_powerpoint.htm
I have *not* looked at the tutorials.... I created my own when I
taught PowerPoint.
One rule I had was that all of the slides had to be created first
before animation was done. Other wise, they would spend all of their
time trying to animate the text etc. I did let them do slide
transition and apply to all if they wanted... but save the flying
words till last. Flying words and sound effects are so annoying (to
me).

This was featured in Riverdeep Classroom Flyer:

"Both basic and advanced skills are included in these on-
line tutorials for PowerPoint; students can follow, for
example, a step-by-step presentation module. Also includ-
ed are topic specific modules for teaching applications."
(Middle School to High School level reading)
