You could accordion-fold them and have the kids make mini-books with your
paper strips. I was doing facial expressions with the Grade 1s and 2s and
had them make a different expression for every page. One page was saved for
a title page (complete with a little "copyright" date). They loved
them...and it was a great "quickie".

Subject: [teacherartexchange] White Paper Scraps
Hi All-
Happy New Year! Does anyone have some brilliant ideas for white paper
scraps? I cut down paper for my kids before we start projects (to make it
easier to mount later) and I have TONS of strips of white paper. I have
had the
kids paint the strips and weave with them, but I am looking for some new
ideas. Thanks!
