I have done animation with kids for over 25 years with half of those
years in a regular art classroom in public school. I have also
coordinated an advanced animation workshop for high school students
sponsored by Detroit Area Film & Television. In response to much
teacher interest, we began a summer workshop on all kinds of animation
for teachers two years ago called Art In Motion. It is one week long
and next summer will be held July 31 through August 4 at a nature
center midway between Detroit and Lansing MI. Housing and college
