>Is there any brand of air-dry clay that you find acceptable/preferable?

The new Crayola air dry clay is fabulous! It is soft like pottery clay and
dries harder than any other air dry clay I have tried (and I have tried a
lot!)

I use 36 gauge to make metal masks. It is heavy enough to keep its shape yet
thin enough to tool easily. United Art and Education has aluminum in rolls of
12" X 10' for $5.20.
