This is for Staci, but anyone who teaches middle schoolers ought to
check this out --

THere is a really good article in Newsweek -- I think it was last week
or the week before-- about the development of boys. It explains a lot
of the behavior weirdness of middle school boys, and even gives a few
tips that might help you to plan lessons that work with them.

Basically, it just says that boys like to move a lot, like fast-moving
projects, etc... but there is a lot of info in the article that will
help. My 8th grade boys this term are really spastic, so I plan to
change some things, BIGTIME.
