Michal,
        Years ago I won a $1500 grant that could be spent on anything
I wanted. I bought my little i-Mac with that money. I then took an
after school computer class the district was offering. The instructor
mentioned that on the Netscape Browser there was free web page creation
software. He showed me how to open it and get started. He said, just
go home and play around with it. Well, I've been playing around with
it ever since. The last year I taught, I had a web design class for
eight graders. Art is all about problem solving. But, I've never had
my problem solving skills tested so much till I began creating web
pages. I'm still typing away on my little i-Mac even with that new
G4 powerbook sitting behind me.
        My photojournalism classes at Kansas University years ago taught
me about the power of telling a story through pictures. I carry that
same storytelling into web pages. My students were so comfortable with
my camera in class every day that they simply ignored it.
        You are right Michal, this can be a very interesting thread.
