I too have been a member for years. Sometimes the topics interest me,
sometimes not. However, the only two topics that have garnered ANY interest
lately are new teacher problems and ordering supplies. The first topic
always causes me to evaluate what is working for me, which is something I
believe we all need to do. And ordering supplies is interesting as I learn
of new products or new ways to use old products. I remember the times when
we would have 20 topics going at once - now only a small handful contribute.
Today seems to be fairly busy, yet I'd bet there have been less than 40
e-mails. Remember when we could easily have 120+ e-mails to wade through?
When being on the list meant a true commitment of time? I'd like to see
more people jump in and start discussions. And if the topics don't interest
me I can always hit "Delete". I would hate for all these conversations to go
private, as I would miss out on the knowledge I could gain.
