Boy, I'd sure like to take credit for that one but I don't use SAX Ultra
Plus. I use their SAX TrueColor in gallons. I love gallons with those squirt
pumps so much for my classroom. I know I'm going to have to switch one of
these days as the buzz is they are fading out the TrueColor but I did order
a batch for this year and all the gallons came in....sooooo...who knows? I
keep looking to see if the Ultra Plus is in gallons but not yet I see.
Anyway....TrueColor is waaaaaaaay cheaper than Ultra Plus (and some of the
other brands) and in gallons and great colors...three good reasons for me to
continue using it.

About 5 years ago I ordered a small container of each well-known brand of
tempera paint and did my own taste (er...paint) test to see which brand I
liked the best. SAX TrueColor stood heads above the others and was the
cheapest. Go figure.

That sounds dynamite! I'll have to try that.

I agree. The only ones I use.

Colored sharpies. I had lots of old, slightly rusted wire left over from our
remodeled days and used it to hang our calligraphic name tags with beads we
made. I wanted "colored" wire so we colored them with colored sharpies.
Worked wonders. They look like we had used expensive colored wire. I only
ordered 5 sets of 12-colored packs. That gives you 60 pens right there to
trade back and forth.

Crayons..stay with Crayola. DON'T, don't use soy crayons. I can't remember
exactly why since it's been years since I tried them (something about the
waxy buildup and lack of color) but I'm guessing you won't like 'em.

I use this too.

My favorite is UHU (pronounced yoohoo) glue sticks. Either the purple (where
kids can see where they glued) or the white ones. Bunki
