Thanks Randy. I have asked them in general what they might like, but a lot
of them seem clueless. So far, I know that they like hip hop, cars and sports.
I just don't have a bunch of lesson plans up my sleeves. In fact, I had NO
plans when I took this job, so it's been really hard for me to come up with
interesting things. Often the cool lessons I find online seem too complicated.
I don't have the confidence to attempt them. Other plans call for materials
that I simply don't have. I find that finding good lessons which require
little research and only basic materials has been one of my biggest challenges. I
know that I need to take some classes and workshops to get more experience,
but right now I just don't have the time. I spend hours every day and pretty
much most of my weekend trying to find suitable lessons that I really
understand. It's totally draining me.
