i learned that the hard way! my solution to this problem is to have
the kids work in teams to get the balloons covered. 2 kids cover one
balloon the first (45 min) class and the same 2 kids do the 2nd balloon
next time. then they each have a balloon to finish up. other tips: use
coffee cans to hold the balloons while papier macheing and drying, but
you will have to turn them over once during the week or the part inside
the can will remain wet forever; also instead of painting, use colored
tissue as the last layer of paper mache.
