Hi Marcia,
    I did a relief sculpture of cut tubes with the kindergarten with Louise
Nevelson as the inspiration. You can paint them all black, or all white.
We even dripped colors of paint on them à la Jackson Pollock. One year,
when we were studying ancient Greece and Rome, we dapple painted them with
white and gray to make them look like architectural ruins.
