Dear Administrator of Saint David's School for Boys,
My personal email to your address has again bounced. I am posting this
to the list so that all of them will know I have taken action to
remedy the situation. Perhaps now there will be no more discussion of
this on the list.
Kindly ask your associate who is subscribed to Getty
TeacherArtExchange, a valuable art education list
serve, to unsubscribe his/her school email address and
re-subscribe with home email address.
The rest of the members do not appreciate that we are
getting these annoying bounce back emails from your
server that there is "illegal content" in our posts.
The right to join does not come with the right to
offend (in my opinion). I am requesting an apology
from your staff member be posted to the list members.
Perhaps there is a logical explanation - as simple as your server was
down for a short period of time? If your staff member no longer wishes
to receive them, there are easy ways to unsubscribe -bouncing the
unwanted mail in my opinion is rude.
I have reported this to the staff at Getty TeacherArtExchange and
perhaps they will remedy the situation for us (I have also sent them
this communication).
Your associate has been missing some very valuable
information as a result of your server blocking our
posts. At first, I thought my case was isolated - then
it became known to me that you were blocking all of
our posts.
Your staff member signed up to receive these. Do us
the courtesy and ask the staff member to change email
addresses and re-subscribe from home account. We find
these bounce back messages insulting. In addition,
please try to persuade your associate to also
contribute in the discussion. We have not seen him/her
make any posts to our list. We are a sharing
community.
