Barb, Re: drying rack for acrylic canvas
When I taught High School I had an awesome drying rack made of wood. It
had been designed by the art teacher and built by the Ag Teacher during the
summer. Shelves were about 5 inches apart with blocks on each side as you
slid the canvas in to hold it in place.

A hint that might be helpful to some--I taught in a medium size HS in a
small town. The admin was reluctant to order big items from the catalogs
but they almost always said yes if I designed it myself and asked for it to
be built during the summer. They would then hire various teachers to do
the building of it--a win/win for the school community and for me. I got
storage bins, shelving, a canvas drying rack, and a print/reproduction
storage rack all using this system.
