The weaving lesson Judy described is in the back of the book,
Seven Spools of Thread: A Kwanzaa Story, by Angela Shelf Medearis.
The book is done in a woodcut style with silhouetted figures and
filled with beautiful fabric designs.
I picked it up at the Scholastic Book Fair this fall. The lesson in
the back is titled, "Weaving Cloth to Make a Belt, " but it is
essentially the same lesson as the one posted on the IAD.
