Subject: [teacherartexchange] Roger Hall Wildlife Art - good scientifc
illustrations
Dear Art Educators,
I discovered this site today:
Roger Hall Scientific Illustration and Wildlife Art - Ink Art
http://inkart.net/
"Expertly rendered pen & ink illustrations of wildlife, the Twin
Cities & European landmarks by Roger Hall. Here you'll find high
quality drawings of amphibians, birds, mammals, fish, reptiles and
invertebrates. Roger is a published artist who's work has appeared in
newspapers, magazines, books and websites and been shown at museums
and galleries around the United States."
Roger is from California.
Roger does give art teachers permission to use his images to inspire
art. He knows that none of you will let your kiddies copy them
exactly. The larger images are watermarked - but the smaller image are
also of high quality.
It is great to find artists who are so supportive of art education.
Links will be added to his site.
The lesson plan using his Bush Rabbit drawing (as reference photo) to come.
