http://www.artcyclopedia.com - has contemporary artists by country
(artists are listed in chronological order)
MOMA- http://www.moma.org
PBS- http://www.pbs.org/art21/

I am planning to add an Artists in the Classroom page on my site and
will link all artists you post. I already have a page for America
Artists and African American Artists and will make sure I have links
for all American artists listed above.

Add your contemporary artists to the list. Wendy Free (Getty list
member) uses contemporary art with her high school students and finds
that it really motivates her students - they are energized and full of
ideas.

I have asked Allison for her lesson using the artists she posted. I
will let you know if she has anything to share with us.

Regards,
