I would include a ruler and good scissors. I have cheap-o metal scissors
(the .89 kind) cause my good ones kept disappearing, so I supply the cheap
ones. If students want decent scissors they bring their own. The one thing I
suggest is that if you are having them supply these mediums that you plan
projects that use each one. As a parent I always got frustrated when I
purchased supplies for my children and they came home at the end of the year
un-used. The oil pastels can be extended by including a project where they
blend the pastels with oil (baby or cooking).
