Hi Linda,
    I enjoyed your journey down memory line. My mother saved all my "report
cards," too. What stood out was a grade in "Penmanship!" (mine was awful.)
Now that's a dinosaur! I also remember from the 1950s the wooden desks
bolted to the floors and an ink well on top. The ornery boys used to dip the
tips of the girls' ponytails/pigtails into the ink jars. Some things never
change. :-)
