I grade mostly on effort and not final results. However, often effort and
final results very much the same. BUT I can say that I do have to fail kids
in my school system. There are a few who just refuse to try and refuse to
cooperate. But unfortunately they are also the ones who don't care if they fail
and continually fail in most of their classes.
