I just could not get home sick for two feet of snow, even
when Frani did all the shoveling.

We DID NOT get 2 ft. of snow- (sorry I live 5 min. from Freeport, LI, and
the most we got was 12"- 14"...we haven't even missed a day of school. My
sister and brother in Mass. and New Hampshire, now THEY got snow- 36"-44"- that's
snow! We had a snow storm, they had a blizzard.

No matter what the weather, I'll always stay here as long as my children
and grandchildren live on Long Island, as well. I honestly feel inspired and
invigorated by the beauty of the winter scenes and the changing of the
seasons. With snow blowers nowadays its no big deal to clear snow. The GORGEOUS
winter snow scenes have inspired my students to paint the beauty of the Long
Island winter, with a little help from me to open their eyes to the feast
before them!
Loving it on Long Island...Susan
