In regard to the Friskars scissors: I order the small 5" rounded ones (with
the different colored handles) with the bigger hole for the fingers and
smaller hole for the thumb, for my kindergarten-2nd graders to use. They can be
ordered by the dozen, I believe. For the older kids I order the orange
handled scissors-rounded tip, but 7". I even have 2 doz. 9" pointed Friskars
(also orange handle) for projects that require them. My 4th and 5th graders use
these successfully, as well, but only offer them when the need arises.
