My fourth grade is working on ³Giants in Town² and they really enjoyed it.
Even though it was structured they each got to interpret it in their own
way. Results were great. Thank you Linda. We are also working (second
grade) on the drawings of the back of their heads, while looking in the
mirror (with a close-up photo of their face). Iım not sure who to credit
for that one...but thank you. The kids love these and the parents think Iım
a genius! I also completed a project with third grade, using recycled two
liter soda bottles. The children cut tails, draw patterns with sharpies on
the outside and then color in the inside with gel pens. The tails are then
stapled, and they strung up using a string attached to a bead inside the
bottle. Most people think they are stained glass.
Iıll take photos this week, and if you would like a copy, please email me
off-line. PS. Start collecting two liter bottles... It takes a while!
