I loved teaching 7th and 8th graders. If they are putting
7th and 8th graders together, it will work out fine. Of
course everyone has their own niche, Middle School was mine.
Having the students all year, every day, is the ideal way
to build a program. I assume the students will take art
either in the 7th or 8th grade. I would prefer to have
students back a second year after I had trained them but
that does not seem to be the plan. As for materials necessary
for a year long program that needs to be worked out. As for
enough to do, I use to rotate my lessons and related artists
over three years. The fourth year I'd start over again. By
that time I would have added new ideas so the new 1st year
was 50% new anyway. You can look at some of the problems
