The Advanced Computing Center for Arts and Design at Ohio State
University might be a good place to look. I worked there last summer
(as more of an educator, not an animator) with the Animation Mentoring
Program
for Young Women. Maria Palazzi (Director) and the other mentors are
very motivated in helping young women learn about animation.
