Thank you, everyone, so very very much for your support and stories of empathy.

My students continue to amaze me. Several students who are mainstreamed into art from the emotionally disturbed classroom burst out with incredible stories in which they could relate personally. Another student spontaneously shared his "whole life story", which was filled with shocking events. I have been making sure teachers know if their students have shared or made art about something especially powerful.

I just want to say again how much this group and your e-mails mean to me. Thank you sincerely.
