Several years back, Susan from Long Island posted her method of using 3/4"
4'x 8' pieces of black-on-black foamcore board (hinge accordian-style using
2" wide black masking tape, full length of each board.) We borrowed this
idea, and love it. They collapse easily for storage, are lightweight, easy
to transport, and are sturdier than one might think. In bulk, we paid
approx. $30 per board. some of the elementary teachers in the district also
purchased 4'x 4' sheets, hinged the same way, which work well on counters or
table tops.
