Oh, yes. We are expected to have at least 3 grades per student each nine
weeks. I teach K- 5 on a 3 day rotation. I have about 500 students. k- 2
receive grades as 4, 3, 2, 1 with 3 being basically "on grade level." That
makes 4 "above grade level" and 1 "out to lunch." 3rd- 5th graders receive
letter grades: A,B,C,F.
