I'm surprised by this review. I find little of objection in any of the
Behind the Scenes videos. The Behind the Scenes videos are about elements
and principles, not especially about the artists. They chose certain artists
to emphasize the element being discussed. The tapes are not meant to be
biographical. I especially like the Hockney episode that focuses on
perspective. It's not about Hockney , it's about "seeing." As the Thielbaud
is not about him but about "line."

If you want more on Thiebaud, I suggest you do a search at CBS Sunday
Morning. Within the past year they did a focus piece on him. It's an
informative, concise story on his process and where he "comes from." It's a
good example of a artist at work.
