Hello Everybody,
I have been making blank books with my 7th graders over the past few semesters, each semester I experiment with a different type of bookmaking. I'm getting tired of them all looking the same, so I have decided to show the kids several types of bookmaking techniques and let them choose the type, shape and size that they would like to make individually. I also have decided that I want each of their books to have some sort of theme, rather than it just being a blank book. I don't mind devoting a couple of weeks to this project, and I have a pretty large inventory of supplies for the students to work from. My question is has anybody done something like this before, and if so, what would be some themes that you might suggest for the books? Any hints or suggestions will be graciously welcomed!
Thanks!
