We weren't concerned about copyright in our heroes
unit...We just picked folks who we knew would want us
using all of those images about them to make a work of
art. We altered them quite a bit anyways - made new
art with them. Funny how copyright was never even
mentioned to my kids in any of their other classes (in
relation to images)....I guess that is something that
falls under ART. Must be part of the ART curriculum.
The only other class they learned anything about
copyright was in Video technology --- and that was in
relationship to putting music on their Videos. They
couldn't turn any video in to be shown on TV if had
longer than so many seconds of one song. I don't
remember how much music they could get by with now. If
they didn't want it to be shown on TV - then they
could use the whole song.
