Subject: Introspective Artists: Pleaase help

Hi everyone,

I am need of help in identifying artists who engage in the concept of
introspection - I realise that this could be applied to nearly all artists
but I am looking apecially for those who dominantly focus on this conceptual
- through convergence of art&science, art as catharsis, self exploration
rather than just narrative of personal emotions, feelings and/or thoughts. I
am looking for artists who use unconventional materials and or processes in
their work - this I guess would mainly limit it to contemporary art which
would isn't a problem at all. Probably more so the artists who use materials
to conceptually express there concepts. These are intented to be used as
reference points for a senior exiting class. Any media would be helpful,
i.e. 2d or 3D.

Thanks heaps

Justin
