RE: cheating

Two comments, Betty. Well, question and comment. First of all, what is the
school's policy on cheating? Secondly, if they don't have a prescribed policy,
I would establish the policy that cheating on a test merits an immediate "F".
No appeals heard. Otherwise, what message are we giving these kids? There was
a report a month or two ago that the company that handles the training for these
security people at airports was allowing the employees to cheat on the tests.
But that's ok, isn't it? They all learned that that was ok in school.

I know, I'm not saying that you or any school sanctions cheating, but why are we
giving them "administrative outs"? Ways to mea culpa for their - obvious,
premeditated, intentioned - transgressions?

My opinion...
