I use the Cell-u-clay (brand name) paper mache'. Sometimes. It is a dry paper
pulp that you add water to. Yes, rather expensive, albeit easy, and spreads
well, so a little goes along way. Dries rather quickly. Put in oven (low heat)
if need to speed up drying. Our kindergarten classes have oven.
Try it sometime-You may LIKE it! You may not. That's why Baskin-Robbins makes
31 flavors! LOL. Have a great day! We are ICED in here in not so sunny south.
