I love the forum http://forums2.gardenweb.com/forums/junk/ I always get lots of ideas here. I made a bowling ball into a bubbler, covered 4 more bb with pennies and marbles, put up a street sign, hung a cattle gate, painted a mural on the garage, stuck a mailbox in front of it, and my newest project is transforming my satellite dish into a gazebo. I think your idea of hanging frames to the fence sounds like a great way to camoflauge and add color. :-)
I have garden art on the mind right now. I have a small grove of crepe myrtles that was my childhood playhouse, and the back "wall" is part of my large ugly chain link fence. I have a stack of old picture frames I'm thinking about painting and wiring to that part of the fence. then I'll wire interesting objects in their centers for the art. Does that sound awful?
I bet the list has interesting gardens. Betty
