Kris Fontes has put her digital self portraits
online... I have already looked at them a couple of
times...and showed my hubby, too. Kids LOVE doing
this! Even high school kids (right Kevan?).
High school lesson coming soon! I just know you all
want it (smile). Kevan has even changed it for second
semester students....That is the cool thing about
teaching art! You never have to teach the same lesson
twice! It can always be new and different. Isn't art
grand!? We are so lucky. "Art is long" ...so get as
much of it in as you can...No need for the same
ol'same ol'. My friend Jeannie thought she could take
the easy way out -- have some set lessons that she
just alternates - teaching the same thing -- she has
only tried it this year and has already found SHE
needs a change. My advice was to change the lesson
with the kids -- just use the same old written lesson
plan to turn in. Do the admins really read them
anyways? Come on folks. DO make your life easier.
One year I turned in Bunki Kramer's weaving lesson
from IAD - yes, with her name on it - I just hand
wrote how I changed it - and added my resources...that
worked for me --and I bet it will work for you too.
IAD plans are there to HELP you....Just use common
courtesy when you go to publish them (get permission
to publish if you are using the exact lesson plan -
credit if you are revising).
