As to my "gift" with names, credit that to a minor in art history in
grad school. I spent one whole summer quarter (1971)in a course on the
Northern Renaissance. Loved it! My research paper was on the woodcuts
Dürer did for the series of the Apocalypse (which the MOMA in NYC has
originals!) So somewhere out of the deep sulci of my brain, Quentin Metsys
popped out when I read J.'s post.
It's scary what else might be in there. :-) Time to go out and shovel snow.
