Laraine sent me the forwared email about Lois's Ground
Zero Quilt --and I am glad she did. This new policy of
mine has introduced me to some amazing people....and
Now Lois knows why her site had so many hits the last
couple of days (smile).
When the quilt comes up, click on it to enlarge it,
and then click again and again each time it gets
larger. When you make it big you will see the
faces of all the people who died there. This was
lots of work for Lois. Take some time to let Lois know
what you think -- I did.
All TEACHERS have permission to show Lois's work to
your students (in a not-for-sale PowerPoint)....as
long as copyright is clearly stated and she is
credited. All others need to email Lois personally.
Folks - I won't always state this permission to use
info --- once you get the hang of it. Each one of
these "permission to use" takes me about an hour (not
to mention the time it takes to thoroughly explore the
site) - then I have to wait a day or two - then add
the link/links -- then notify you when links have been
added....Hmmmm....I guess this will cut down
considerably on the number of contemporary artists I
link up (smile). As with any artist - if you are not
sure we have permission - just ask me (all who
REQUESTED links give you permission - as that is why
they came to IAD in the first place - to get their
work in schools)

P.S. I can not guarantee permission on artists that
just get posted in emails. I have already tried to
look up three that don't have sites.
