"Just got word - Ed (you met him at the x-mas party - field rep in Slippery
Rock) had to drive home to Bowling Green yesterday - his two grandchildren were
hit by a car. Seems the driver (a mother taking her high schooler to school)
was going 35 in a school zone - doesn't have license or insurance. The
9-year-old granddaughter has a broken pelvis - should be home in a couple of
days. The 7-year-old grandson will probably not make it - he was thrown
head-first into a phone pole, and they've already removed a portion of his
brain."
PLEASE admonish everyone you know to be careful, ESPECIALLY in school zones.
Such tiny lives so needlessly destroyed and wasted...
